For Whom Do We Pray – What Do We Pray For – How Do We Pray?

What Do We Pray For – How Do We Pray – To – For Whom Do We Pray

for life

for Spring crops

for safety

for peace

for rains

for floods to ebb

for ends   -  beginnings

prosperity

health

dreams fulfilled

for seasons

for joy

for what once was

for our ancestors

for blessings

for good

on our knees

supplicating

in sanctuaries

in the midst of chaos

for answers

for understanding

for guidance

for faith

for preserving  life

for love

compassion

grace

longing

a light

a pathway to or fro

being connected

always

a time long gone

forgiving

consecrating

all that is far beyond

our  known world

for what is unkown

unspoken

unheard

untouched

unscathed

unblemished

pure

true

just

whole

for all these  – even more

we bow our heads

 raise our voices

lift up our hearts

from all prisons

that keep us bound

within

we give

freely

wholely

with our eyes ears open

these prayers resound

War – Famine – Slavery – Pestilence Must End – Only then Will Peace Reign Uniting This World For Good““`

War – Famine – Slavery – Pestilence Must End

Only then Will Peace Reign Uniting this World For Good………………………

Our mantra as a government in this land throughout the lands is that,

“peace is the only answer.”  Reconciling our differences - preserving sustaining life – for everyone not just a few not anyone but for all inhabitants

human condition of accepting embracing collaborating we are all called upon  rising above this dingy dismal ashen covered fray

living out what we are best at facing our kindred spirits all of us in this world who have been here

since first life came here on speeding vessels through space

carrying with them ultimate germs of all life

There will not be any argument that one brother or sister does to us must be reflected in what we all do together as we did when we first offered pioneers a place in this perilous tenuous climate

when only frozen vast seas covered our plains

we have forgotten that surviving is an universal norm for any of us unless we merge from turmoil – from impetuous violent seas extending a hand  full of grace

as stewards we have but one calling to obey our purpose to forge an alliance together crossing straits narrow gorges rising tides with this refrain,

“either we all make this place home or we all perish.”

The Killing Fields Within

It is said, “Killing is shameful.” Killing by any means necessary takes away the breath of the innocent leaves us without capacity for reconciling our differences and preserving all life as sacred, holy and the will of all to preserve and protect. We have lived wanton lives of destruction that have fed on preying on victims. For this world to be safe for everything and everyone we must put an end to armed conflict inside and throughout our lifespan on Earth. Wherever we venture we must have a declared commitment to love to ignite the passion of peace, forgiveness and reconciling our differences if we are to survive.

About 401,000,000 results  401 million profiles of killing.  Imagine how many references there are to killing throughout history – like “Incendies,”  Syria 60,000 dead.  How many more on a daily basis?
Daily a person dies every 12 seconds.

new ages new day new feeling you carry inside

praise for new beginnings

when awakening streams stitch night visions

disperse along waves of expecting light

fresh from dreaming beds of Spring light

bursting alighting frozen wakes

rippling in dripping sheaths

turning upon all passersby

living words dangling  on pursed lips

reading pleading splashing on bed sheets

soaked from aroused senses of possible

lovemaking

arising in deepest nodes

tearing away all subtlty illusion fretting senses

are drowned in fantasy expectancy limitless

upheaval

at heaven in hell in sacred consecration

at once

longing sated freely gives

Stubbing My Toe

a long the line there are many place that you cross that you fall on your face

there are many places that you are blessed with unimaginable grace

when you trip  as you’re falling down you have a choice, whether to get up or stay put

most people choose to rise  being down is a precarious way to care for your life

your life is precious a gift a place of refuge a sanctuary

even when you’re hurt mending a vulnerable sore twist or are lost alone

being in the world we are always connected but many people are not aware of how

There are those who take people who are suffering exploit them harm them leave them broken down

having no idea of what we are doing to networks of connections that exists throughout time

watch where you walk what crossroads you approach make sure that you are safe that there is a place to turn

seeking a safe haven from the immense burdens of being intertwined in this world

Protecting Influence – NIA – Purpose – Habitual Routines

basically, living with a value of being vital, doing a routine daily is a means to health socially and physically.  The spirit need rhythms. When the balance of being of worth is shattered a person can slip into a feeling of lethargy.  Gardening or raising anything can be a means to fulfillment, peace, awareness, and connected.  Our place in this universe is interwoven in purpose.  The question, “What are we here for, What is my purpose?” is a resolute branding of the merit and calibre of being a part of the world.

When a person starts their day there ought to be a feeling of satisfaction, of memory that this is vital arousal of the need to work.  We must always attach methods of conservation, or contemplation, times of fulfillment through a daily calendar of critical acts of awareness.  There is no more significant time than when we begin the day.

When you have no script, no plan, no story then it is tough to find meaning and purpose.  All of us revere those whose pursuits are driven by discovering, by insights, by awareness and working on solving the propositions before us.  We are called to make the life that we have a sacred response to the mundane, and make the time here the best that we can possibly make our lives.

These propositions are a part of the Art of Living.  Each of us needs a manifesto that we regularly review that contains a schedule and a review of the events that occur throughout the day.  Daily we have to process whether we succeeded and what this means for the following morning when we awaken.  With tenderness compassion a sense of belonging we plough the earth and sow the seeds for the calendar that is finally realized in the bounty that we nurture and inevitably we come to see that the metamorphosis of the plant with the gathering and storing of seed and harvest is the essence of our personal quest for meaning.  With reverence for all life we must serve as stewards of all that we touch, for our breath is a prayer and our steps are blessings for all beings great and small.

Spirit of the Holidays – Anew

What is this all for – for feeling good – for sitting down with friends and family – for receiving and giving gifts – for the constant reminder that we are blessed – for a break from the routine mundane pressures of everyday life – for vacations – for visiting  – for celebrating – for remembering – for kindling candles – for remembrances - for sensing what we have lost – for the peace that comes before the dawn – for the many many finite wonders of creation – for praise of the steward of everything that is – for being glad and bringing good tidings of comfort and joy – for singing and caroling – for the new-born - for praise of the world – for all that is – for connections – for refrains – for spirit ascending transcending aspiring to new heights – for the new fallen snow – for the chill that makes your cheeks rosy – for grace that makes people civil remembering that we are all alike distinct revered venerated delight for the presence of the anointed we are a gift from that which is beyond our grasp the ineffable the creative flow the finite deserving gift that we were when we were conceived out of love and reverence for the creative in each of us – that we are all belonging and that we all need to be reminded that our live is precious a precious gift that transcends slips errors faults turmoil   -  saving grace

Tomorrow Must Come a Paradox

Tomorrow Must Come – a Paradox

For some we know that tomorrow is gone

 there is only yesterday

we must keep hope alive in our hearts

our spirits have nowhere to turn – feel safe

we tremble both inside – out

Our hands cannot grip – our feet are frozen

 we must plod on

There has never been a safe haven for some who wait expectantly for a chance

They were given innumerable opportunities a gravely voice growls

What can we do to engender confidence

no one believes that our gnawing desire is to pay our own way

earn a living wage

 take care of our families

be citizens who are worthy of our birth our ancestors our descendants

 all are connected

we’re all noble belonging here in this place

we aren’t strangers visitors foreigners

this is our land

here we’re going to remain

unless you bar us-shun us-deny us a place of rest of sanctuary from this storm

poor  beggar – lost sheep – lonely wayfarer – young child robbed by troubled sleep

tonight remember those who have been slain left-abandoned-turned away

”Tomorrow Must Come – a Paradox”

second version

keep a flame lit kindle it again

every year whisper that

here we’ll stay

murmur this refrain

  here we’ll stay

here we’ll stay

 This was the first iteration

(Which do you prefer?)

For some we know that tomorrow is gone

that there is only yesterday

Yet we must keep hope alive in our hearts

our spirits have nowhere to turn and feel safe

we tremble both inside and out

Our hands cannot grip our feet are frozen and we must plod on

There has never been a safe place for some who wait expectantly for a chance

There were innumerable opportunities a gravely refrain growls

What can we do to engender confidence

no one believes us that our gnawing desire is to pay our own way

to earn a living wage

to take care of our families

to be citizens who are worthy of our birth our ancestors our descendants

we are all connected

we are all noble belonging here in this place

we are not strangers visitors foreigners

this is our land  here we are going to remain

unless you bar us shun us deny us a place of rest and sanctuary from this storm

poor  beggar lost sheep lonely wayfarer young child robbed by troubled sleep

tonight remember those who have been slain, left, abandoned turned away

keep a flame lit kindle it again and every year whisper that here we will stay

make the effort to murmur this refrain,  here we will stay here we will stay

Connection and Compassion

Without question we are always changing one another and if we live with connection and compassion the points of contact and transformation will change the world.

connection - compassion

In a world wrought with such turbulence it is absolutely necessary for us to focus on the gifts that we have and lift up the beauty grace sense of wonder in living.
