Derrick Brown’s Story Is All Too Usual and Customary – Where’s Our HEART?

DERRICK BROWN, a decorated Gulf War veteran whose home was sold at auction by a private equity firm despite a temporary restraining order for what he says was a wrongful foreclosure.
 
and we do not understand who and how people become homeless. We do not grasp the significance of being safe and sound no matter what. We allow the families of veterans to be thrust in limbo when we should be ensuring that business is not as usual. This stinks and must be remedied not only for Derrick. But everyone in harm’s way no matter what the cost is. HOUSING IS HEALTHCARE.
