Alright Now, Everything Is Going to Be Alright

The Greatest Human Waste Is Nonchalance

It is the hour that calls us home.  We’re afraid that we’ll be left out in the cold.  We wait on a warm meal, a quiet calm retreat, a place of respite from buffeting winds, a place of light and mirth, a place for all who wish to come in from the cold to embrace our home making us feel whole.

Those who live in the shadows are constantly bombarded with a sense that they’re unworthy,  don’t belong, scarcely matter, if anything we have abandoned ourselves.

“The biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted.” – Mother Teresa

It’s the sense that you don’t matter to anyone that you’re a victim that you have been forgotten left, found wanting neglected, abused, battered, abandoned.

It is the fear that no one will know if you perish.  It is the overwhelming dread that there is nothing left that you are utterly alone

that if there is someone who comes in and touches you that you’ll be alright.
