Each year several hundred communities across the country gather for National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day. Co-sponsored by the National Coalition for the Homeless, the National Consumer Advisory Board, and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, the day gives communities an opportunity to bring attention to the tragedy of homelessness and to remember our homeless neighbors who have lost their lives in the midst of such challenging circumstances.
