reveries of a heart in turmoil blessed always by impulses that arise from deepest memory of breathing in and out from the womb of innocence.

Conventions of the Heart – Rhapsodies

You came into my life by accident unexpectedly you adorned my life with grace like the sweet aroma of a bush of orange blossoms adorned with honey suckle, your fragrance overwhelmed my senses both awakening and dreaming of the anticipation of your face lighting up mine like a buttercup imagining playing with your hair tousling your ears trembling in expectant pleasure at your presence the breath of your mouth and lips nearing mine feeling the delight of the tension of enfolding your arms and legs in mine whether dancing or playing gently, or nudging you, or talking in soft whispers there was always this image of you and I cavorting in the heralded lands and countryside, along the byways and resonating in one another’s company ultimately lapping up whatever nectar and delights were offered in response to the moments that we touched

Please come home and let me wash you, keep you warm, for going all else let us wander in the wilderness of love and lie down like the fawn innocently soaking up the dwindling light brandishing the fire of the furnace of the heart that has seeped in to every pore

For love has no protocol and tempts all to passionately be ensnared in the presence of the divine that kindles all and lights this fire between us and in the deepest recesses of our bodies making us weak yielding giving in to all discretion lapses and freely igniting rhapsodies at dawn
