The Discourse on Racial Justice in Denver and Throughout the Nation Will Take Inspiration, Perspiration and Hard Work

Racial justice can’t be attained without working hard first to acknowledge our personal role in racism and then in listening to deep seeded pain that is evident throughout our history both contemporarily and in our ancestors’ behavior. Belief that one is superior over another and has a right to break a person. It is silly to treat this issue as a point and counterpoint on police interactions with students and have a role-playing exercise and an irrelevant pep rally about being ready to take action. The racial justice forum was a desperate activity to placate everyone involved and who most of the time sits on the side lines cheering for the home team.
